Organic wines from Abruzzo, Marche & Apuglia
The Abruzzo- and Marche wine region is situated in the middle of Italy, oriented to the adriatic sea, while Apuglia is the eastern part of southern Italy.
The most popular grape variety is named like the region "Montepulciano d'Abruzzo" which produces good and reliable redwines. But also Sangiovese, Verdicchio, Trebbiano, as well as international knowned varieties like Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon can be found.
One of the well known grape of Apuglia is called "Primitive", which produces rich, powerful and smooth redwines.
Organic wines from Piemonte
Piedmont is considered by many as the most prominent italian wine region. Undoubtedly, Barolo , the king of wines and the wine for kings, as Italians say, has created this reputation. The second great wine is the Barbaresco, also made of the Nebbiolo grape. While these two demand some years of maturing, Barbera and Dolcetto wines are two other important red grape varieties and wines. The white Arneis from the small Roero region and the more popular Gavi complete what this beautiful hilly landscape offers.
Sardinien im Frühling
Organic wines from Sardegna and Sicily
Only in the last 20 years modern wine growing and wine making techniques were introduced and applied on the isles of Sardegna and Sicily. At the same time the great potential of their typical grape varieties appeared and this is why we prefer to offer you exactly these wines made of Cannonau, Monica di Sardegna, Bovale, Nero d'Avola, Inzolia and others, and not Chardonnay, Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon.
Sangiovesetraube
Organic wines from Tuscany
Tuscany is a synonym for beauty, elegance, art, archicture, history, good food and wines that go well with it.
The great and most precious grape variety is the Sangiovese (see the photo)which dominates every Chianti wine. Rich in colour, with sufficient acidity and tannins, with lots of fruit, gives a god producer every possibilty to make good wines. Of course, we offer some of the best organic wines from our tuscan partners: Tenuta San Vito, Casina di Cornia, Torre alle Tolfe, Gabriele Buondonno, Cerreto Libri, Il Palagio, La Spinosa, Poggio Tre Valle, La Ciccolina, Corte Pavone.
Organic wines from Veneto and Lison-Pramaggiore
The Veneto wine region starts in the west at the Lago di Garda and reaches till the north of Venice, where it borders to the small denominatione of Lison-Pramaggiore. Generally, the most popular wines are pleasant and easy to drink and affordable like Bardolino, Valpolicella, Soave, reds made of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, and of course Prosecco which is "en vogue" already for many years. Apart from the basic, some producers manage to offer wines far above average by reducing the yield and carefully selected grapes.
